TFPT0805L1801FM Overview
For protection, PTC thermistors are contained in 0805 (2012 Metric) packages. For safety reasons, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). Using PTC thermistors at -55°C temperature should be their minimum operating temperature. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 150°C. A thermistor has 2 pins. If the thermistor can't transfer and conduct this power loss without overheating, it'll overheat. When it works, this thermistor will provide a voltage of 40V.
